The NNVNA recognized the artisan craftsman who landscaped these apartments on 4th St. north of Menaul in beautiful Japanese style. He was the Association's recipient of the first "Good Neighbor" award in fall of 2009.

One reason many of us live in the Near North Valley has to do with the miles of ditches with trails that allow walking, biking, and horseback riding in beauty and seclusion.

Few people know that this plain-looking structure on 2nd St. contains one of the region's best-known fine art restoration businesses.

This local market, known for it's fresh-cut meats, was in business for many decades on 4th St. south of Menaul.

St. Therese Catholic church and parish is a center of community life in the Near North Valley, on 4th St. NW.

The Senior Center on Aztec and Fourth St. was recently (2010) updated in appearance and enlarged.

Our Western boundary is marked by the Alameda Drain as it passes under Indian School Road.
