While we pride ourselves on all the great preparation we know the magic starts to happen as we lead up to the first day of class. As a valued member of our faculty team, we are so excited to see how you bring your professional and teaching experience to your course and your students each term. In order to provide a framework that supports consistency in the student experience and aligns to best-practice in online teaching, we believe it all begins with a deeper dive into the NLU 10 Principles of Teaching that you were introduced to in your Adjunct Orientation. This deeper dive shows how each principle can be implemented in an online course to provide a platform for deep learning, as well as the establishment and cultivation of meaningful connections between you and your students (and between each of them, too).
