Can I Tell You Something? is a live interdisciplinary performance that explores intimacy, self-image, vulnerability, and the unstable relationship between being seen and seeing oneself. Bringing together performance, sound, objects, and participatory gestures, the work places the audience in close proximity to the performer, where observation gradually shifts into encounter. Drawing from personal rituals, memories, and the body as both subject and material, the performance moves between moments of exposure, humour, discomfort, and play.
Rather than presenting the self as fixed or fully knowable, it treats identity as something continuously performed, examined, and reconstructed in relation to others. The work disrupts the conventional separation between performer and audience through direct interaction and shared moments of participation, allowing each performance to be shaped by the people present in the room. Moving between confession and withholding, control and uncertainty, the performance asks what happens when private gestures become public, and how intimacy changes when it is witnessed.
