3, 2, 1 performance invites participants to engage in a series of reimagined games—Tag, Tic-Tac-Toe, and Dodgeball—interwoven with themes from King Lear. Through play, participants navigate shifting power dynamics, forming relationships and alliances in real time. The artist, acting as the Joker, guides the game, announces scores aloud, and disrupts the flow, blurring the boundaries between performance, competition, and storytelling. Taking place in public spaces, this work transforms Shakespeare’s text into an interactive experience, where strategy, movement, and improvisation shape the unfolding narrative.
