An Ephemeral Doppelgänger (2023)

An Ephemeral Doppelgänger is a mixed media installation exploring identity, self-representation, and the immigrant experience. Four screens—one television and three iPads—displayed fragmented versions of the self: a virtual museum of artist's objects, artist's figure before the camera, interactions with a mirrored reflection, and the audience’s own image captured through an iPad’s selfie camera. Accompanied by a booklet of still images and a pink plastic female army soldier, the work examines the fluidity of identity within shifting cultural context
