Twenty Seven (2023)

Twenty Seven is a short documentary following artist's grandmother’s visit to her recently immigrated grandchild in Vancouver,BC. Reflecting on personal histories—an Iranian woman’s experience, her grandmother’s two decades as a U.S. immigrant, and the distance between them—the film captures their attempt to reconnect. Over three days, the evolving bond is documented through the camera’s lens, revealing moments of intimacy, memory, and rediscovery.
