Evaluating a Domestic Abuse Early Intervention Service - NIHR HDRC Coventry

During the COVID-19 pandemic, demand for domestic abuse support increased significantly. In response, Coventry City Council commissioned an Early Intervention Service (EIS), bringing together 2 specialist domestic abuse services to provide targeted support.

There was a need to evaluate this approach to understand how effective it was, and to inform decisions about future commissioning and service development.

Improving support for minoritised unpaid adult carers - NIHR HDRC Bradford

Bradford Adult Social Care Commissioning Team (ASCCT) identified a need to better understand the evidence base around how to support minoritised informal carers. This evidence was needed to inform a new strategy for unpaid carers, which had a particular focus on addressing inequalities.
