Local authority support and resources

We have a number of schemes to provide direct resources to local authorities to increase their research capacity and capability.

Direct resource is provided to support research activity within local authorities.  This comprises:

• Public Health Engagement Leads (PHELs)

• Local Authority Research Practitioners (LARPs)

• Public Health Grassroots Awards - short part-time flexible awards to allow those working in public health to develop their research skills through training or by spending time with an established research team
