Research costing tool training sessions

To help users navigate the tool, we are holding a series of training sessions. We are offering a range of training options so you can choose the one that best suits your needs: 

Costing tool training session  

In this small online group session, we will work on an example project to populate and navigate the costing tool.

Costing tool drop-in sessions 

These one-to-one sessions can be used to ask questions about how to use the costing tool for your research project. In these sessions we will help you get the most out of the costing tool, provide guidance on navigating the different tabs, and offer support with entering and reviewing project costs. We will work through any areas you are unsure about and build your confidence in using the tool. 

• Wednesday 21 October 2026 – 30 minute slots available between 2 – 4pm  

• Thursday 19 Nov 2026 – 30 minute slots available between 11 – 12.30
