Together, the Specialist Centre for Public Health and the Specialist Centre for Social Care are hosting 2 webinars to offer information, advice and support for individuals who are considering applying for an NIHR Predoctoral Award, Doctoral Award or Postdoctoral Award.

Who should attend?  

These webinars are for anyone working in local authorities, or a voluntary sector organisation, working in public health or social care, who are interested in or have begun to apply for a Predoctoral Award, Doctoral Award or Postdoctoral Award.

Experts methodologists will be on hand to answer questions, offer advice and support, and give detailed information on what is required in applications; including public involvement and community engagement, training plans, costing, identifying academic support, and speaking to your employer. You will also hear from current award holders, who will share their personal experiences and research journeys.
