My boss at work, knowing that I do woodworking, asked of me to build her niece a pegboard. Her niece stretches rubber bands over a pegboard to create designs at a weekly physical therapy session where she builds the muscles in her hands that were slow in development. My boss knew that she wanted a board to take home to practice, but could not find one to purchase, so asked me to construct one. (swipe between pictures)
After seeing variations of similar projects online and becoming fed up with a disorganized bedside table, I elected to build a key valet, or in regards to one on a bedside table, a gentleman's tray. (swipe between pictures)
A the request of my grandparents, I built a swiveling Michigan Rummy table for their use on Saturday nights when they play. Looking back, this project is not the best, but certainly shows how far I have come in my skills as a woodworker. (swipe between pictures)
