When COVID forced my mother to work from home in the spring of 2020, she needed a place to work, and spreading out semi-permanently on the dining table just wasn't working. I decided to design and create a place for her to work, specified to her liking
The build started with the unique legs, which were made from 4x4s, crossed with half-laps joints and rabbets cut to mechanically hold the desk frame atop. (Swipe between pictures)
The desk box was framed, complete with lower access holes and floating rear panel. (Swipe between pictures)
