Ownership & Security
6.1 – Never give or sell medical vehicles — they are government property. Use the NHS vendor or store items in your vehicle to dispose of gear.
6.2 – Always lock your vehicle. You are responsible for protecting it from theft.
6.3 – Store vehicles when not in use. Unattended vehicles are likely to be stolen (and would be your responsibility if taken).
Vehicle Usage
6.4 – Only operate medical vehicles. If yours is stolen and the robbers leave theirs behind, you may use it to drive directly to a hospital for a replacement.
6.5 – Boats are for water emergencies only. Misuse will be punished.
Parking & Road Safety
6.6 – Never park or land on roads. Only do so if a patient is on the road and it protects them — use all lights to indicate your position.
Emergency Response
6.7 – Use sirens (Shift + F) and emergency lights (Shift + L) when responding to emergencies. Do not abuse them. You may exceed speed limits during emergencies. Always use headlights when driving.
6.8 – Activating sirens or lights in non-medical vehicles is classed as exploiting.
Lifts & Theft
6.9 – You may deny lift requests if it endangers you or interferes with your duties. Lifts must be free of charge.
6.10 – Report stolen vehicles to police immediately.
6.11 – If someone attempts to lockpick your vehicle, get in and drive/fly away. Contact police from a safe distance with a suspect description. Never pull people from a moving vehicle.
