Various Path Clearances

One of our members has been very busy with her husband cutting back various pathways within Norden from the vegetation that was causing the paths to be difficult to pass. Thanks very much Bev and Stuart O'Connor your efforts are much appreciated.

If you know of a path in need of cutting back, why don't you take some clippers and cut it back. Dont forget to take before and after photos and send them to us at nbhbridleways@gmail.com so we can add the work here. 

If it is a bigger job requiring more effort then why not organise an NBH Bridleways Working Party. Just let us know when you intend doing the work and we will circulate to our members to come and give a hand. NB for our insurance to cover us we need to inform the BHS at least 3 weeks before any working parties. WE have already informed them of the last Wednesday in each month so that could be a date to use.

Vegetation cut back and branches of trees trimmed, Holly Bush by the pedestrian gate pruned to allow a bit more swing

Loads of branches trimmed. Unfortunately no before photos taken but trust us they were very low. Removal of the whicker fencing that had been dumped in the puddles as the panels contained a shed load of nails which were a danger to pedestrians, dogs and horses alike.
