Reporting to Police - Update
Operation Snap (go right to the bottom of the page to start the process off) is now available for people to report incidents where you have photographic or video evidence. To help you fill in the form we have produced a help guide which should assist you. If you have any comments on where the guide is wrong (for instance if the process is changed by the Police) or where it could be clearer please email us at nbhbridleways@gmail.com so we can update it.
If you have need to report incidents to the Police the quickest and best way to do this is to use the live chat function on their website. Just click on the icon in the bottom right corner and state your issue. The system will then automatically generate a log number. Things you might wish to report are
Inconsiderate or dangerous driving (logging the incidents will help Police to determine if a particular location is worthy of any specific interventions)
Off-Road Riding on Moors etc (logging helps the police keep this issue high on their priority list)
Harassment or abusive behaviour by members of the public when riding
