Request from Local Residents -Care on paths

Pat and Gill attended the Bamford Area Forum at the end of May. One of the local residents mentioned that he thought the cut through from Bamford Way to Bowling Green Way seemed to be rather narrow for horses to go down. After the meeting we went to look at the cut through and it is quite narrow. The route is used to take the horses off the busier Bamford Way whilst travelling from the Bridlepath at the back of Bamford Academy to the Bridlepath at Marlett Avenue.

We would like to ask that Horse Riders be aware of the narrowness of the path and give way to any pedestrians they might meet whilst traversing it.
