Starting in early 2022, I had the exciting opportunity to join the talented Cardiovascular Imaging and Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital. As an undergraduate researcher under Vineet Raghu, I analyzed electronic health records to see how smoking data can be used to not only determine lung cancer screening eligibility, but also risk of lung cancer using machine learning models.
Tools I frequently use for my research include Rstudio and Github. Although I'm not allowed to share the code that I am working on due to the confidentiality of patient datasets that are being used, below is a recent presentation of my work with smoking data and machine learning models. In addition, feel free to checkout my peers and my intro on the team newsletter from June '22!
