I develop talks, workshops and learning spaces exploring language, identity, culture and communication across Arabic-speaking contexts. Drawing on my work in translation, terminology, cultural adaptation and LGBTQIA+ communication, these sessions examine the challenges of discussing gender, sexuality and identity across languages and cultures, the role of terminology in shaping understanding, and the ways language can influence access to information, services and community life.

Topics may include LGBTQIA+ terminology in Arabic, translating gender and sexuality across languages, working with Arabic-speaking LGBTQIA+ communities, supporting migrants and refugees, navigating cultural and linguistic differences within families, and creating more accessible and inclusive communication. Whether aimed at professionals, organisations, community groups or families, the focus is always on encouraging dialogue, sharing practical knowledge and fostering greater understanding across cultures and lived experiences.
