Zoo Tycoon 2: Folksy Facelift has been in development for several years and has faced several roadblocks on its path to release. Now that it is out, a roadblock has appeared that has stalled foreseeable post-launch development and development for future projects for the time being.

The PC I have been using to develop Folksy Facelift has been very finicky in terms of stability for the past couple of years, and, as of January 18, 2023, it has simply stopped being workable. I've managed to salvage the ZT2-related projects from that computer and have relocated them to an older PC, but it is weak and unsuitable for continuing development. At least for the time being, I have no option but to cease development of Folksy Facelift and all projects adjacent to it - hopefully only temporarily, though.

Using the old, very slow PC, I can at least release the latest version of FF, but it bears mentioning that I no longer have the means to update the easy installer option, only the manual install option. The installer has been deprecated (whether it's just for the time being or permanently is an open question) for the time being.

Once I have the means to continue development in an optimal environment, I will try to do so; there are still big things planned for the future that I'd like to share with the world. I hope you enjoy the journey that lies ahead and all it entails - and frankly I hope that there will be a journey ahead for Nano's Zoo 2 Zone.
