Folksy Facelift
Zoo Tycoon 2: Folksy Facelift is here! Before you download it, why not read about what it's all about?
Zoo Tycoon 2: Folksy Facelift's goal is simple - though it intends to make the game markedly more accurate and realistic, it aims to do so within the confines of the vanilla art style. Properly-sized animals, fun new variants and some secret surprises—and shocks—are just some of the features of this fan revamp!
Sensible Sizes
If you've ever thought to yourself, 'wow, some of the animals in this game are way too big', you're not alone; Folksy Facelift re-scales the majority of the animals in the game to be more like their real life counterparts, and not everything has necessarily been shrunk...!
Beastly Behavior
Watch out! Many animals have some positively savage tricks up their furry, feathery and scaly sleeves that reflect their real, wild selves. Some ugly consequences can be avoided with enough care, but the end of the day, animals are gonna be animals.
New Digs
Using sources such as the IUCN Red List and the Animal Diversity Web as references, every single animal has been given a shake-up in terms of how they stomach all of the different biomes - and a few have even changed their minds on which biomes they like the best!
The Spice of Wildlife
Several animals, namely big cats, have been given some fun new variants, generally (but not always) based off of real life. But it's not just animals that have been given an extra splash of variety: many trees come in more than one leaf and zoo guests are not nearly as same-y as they used to be!
