Oscar Jenkins-Wing  Piano 

Oscar Jenkins-Wing (he/him) is a Chinese-Australian composer and performer based in Naarm/Melbourne, Victoria with a diverse portfolio of music.

Oscar's music is characterised by a unique combination of minimalism and maximalism; with strong elements of genre-blending and the incorporation of creative sound design – often finding inspiration in the living world around him. His work has been heard in many leading venues including the Sydney Opera House, Melbourne Recital Centre, fortyfive downstairs, and the Melbourne Fringe Festival.

Passionate about music education, Oscar encourages creative and expressive performance techniques to help students become engaging performers, and highlights the need for technical ability to be accompanied by emotive performance. 


Oscar holds a Bachelor of Applied Music (Composition) from Box Hill Institute and was awarded Higher Education Student of the Year (2022).
