10/26/20 - Conference week

As conferences begin this week we wanted to take a minute to remind you that now is a good time to assess your progress so far. Are you attending your classes regularly? If you need help, are you attending the learning support hours or contacting your teachers? Do you complete the assigned work or are you submitting blank responses? What does your home learning environment look like and is it really the best it can be for your learning? Use this week to really examine how you are approaching your learning this year.

Use this time also to celebrate your successes. Its important to acknowledge the things that you have done well as those can be the building blocks for future successes. They don't need to be big things, just something that you did well and can take a little pride in.

Lastly, use this time to prepare for whatever comes next. Get your mind and body rested and ready to dive back in. Make a goal for the next day, week, month, year, 10 years, or lifetime. Having a goal in mind makes it much easier to define success and achieve the things you want to achieve.
