To proceed with my Project, I had to learn firsthand how meetings were carried out, so I attended the Rancho Cucamonga City Council Meeting because, though they may discuss different topics, the format of the agendas was similar. I came prepared to take notes, along with questions such as 

• How the meetings work - I wanted to see what the process is like and how decisions get made.

• Who makes the real decisions? Do all council members have equal power, or do some have more say than others?

• How can people from the community make a difference? Can regular people just show up and change something, or is it harder than that?
