The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool, England, in 1960. The group consisted of: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Star. By 1964, the Beatles were international stars. The Beatles remain as the best-selling music act and the most influential band of all time.
