Coming back from break, I felt that some things needed to change. First, the movement was very rigid, and secondly, the AI needed an overhaul. So I set my sights on that first.
I mapped out how the AI should work here:
I spent my time implementing the new changes, such as the movement and AI. I also added berley, which is a static bait option that I think can be used strategically.
With just these changes, the game feels so much more playable than before. While the previous version was static, this version gives the player more options to interact with and makes the game more interesting (better than just waiting for a static 25% change).
