This week was playtesting week, and my project was nowhere near ready. However, it was awesome seeing what everyone else had made! It is a little demoralizing when I realised how far behind I was, but I felt I had a small enough scope to complete it.
Below was the feedback I had received from playtesters.
I felt that most of this feedback was a mix of both useful and not. A lot of what I got back was adding aspects that I was not in a development stage to add yet (such as a tutorial). It's a testament to how much more content I need to add.
From there, I sat down and decided to work on hook movement. Not too much content from this week video-wise.
I was struggling with getting this to work as I wanted, and I quickly realised that it was a huge undertaking. I was hard coding the movements, which admittedly did not feel like the best solution. I will be leaving this for next week.
However, I did learn about quaternions. Very cool.
