Finally, the final week. The hand-in was supposed to the on the 23rd of October, however I applied for a 3-day extension to allow myself more time.
There's a substantial lack of filming progress here, mostly because I was in the flow and didn't want to stop what I was doing. The project was quickly coming together!
I was focused on implementing the art assets and doing some final polish. There were a few things I wish made it into the final game, but were sadly cut. There's also some additions that were not filmed that I will quickly go over.
Berley is now represented as particles.
Menu & Scene has music.
Parallax is adjusted multiple times.
Numbers and other bulk was removed.
You'll notice that there are some different fish and other assets. I had to redo the last fish because (as I previously mentioned) I had drawn the wrong fish. I decided to look at actual references as well as the diary, and created all the new fish as well as the other assets.
And soon enough, I was done! I recorded the gameplay and edited together a trailer, before moving onto more paperwork.
