Short Courses

I worked as the coordinator for the EE Department Seminars and Short Courses. I helped in preparing short course proposals and provided input to the vice rector for improvements.

The list of presented short courses:

1. Data Networking Technologies (Coordinator, Offered 16 times to Saudi Aramco. Additional offerings are planed)

Very successful course started at the end of 2003. The course is usually offered as two or three times every year. It is a two-week course with about 20 participants.

I was awarded by the Dean of College of Engineering for this short course also Nominated for the University (KFUPM) short course award 2007/2008.

I also instructed in the following short courses:

2. Broadband Communication Access: Technologies & Applications.

3. Web Site Development for Internet Use" on the 5th IEEE Technical Meeting Exchange TEM'98.

4. Programmable Logic Controllers.

5. Introduction to PSpice.

6. Advanced PSpice.

7. Microcontroller Applications, King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness & Creativity, Summer 043, 4 days workshop 2005.

8. Research Skills, Organized by Student Success Center at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals , 2 weeks (Fours Sessions)

    • First Offering : July 2019, 50 participants.
    • Second Offering : Sep. 2019, 30 participants.
    • Third Offering: Scheduled for Feb. 2019

I also have presented three weeks research program to talented (gifted) students in the summer of 2017. I also conducted many workshops related to undergraduate research.
