“Deliberation upon unfair regulations and
censorship of F1 drivers by the FIA.”
The FIA World Motor Sport Council (FIAWMSC) serves as the primary decision-making body overseeing international motorsport, including Formula 1, rallying, and other racing disciplines. With motorsport’s ever-growing global fanbase and increasing commercial stakes, the need for transparent, fair, and ethical governance is more critical than ever. At THSVK MUN ’25, the FIAWMSC convenes to address pressing concerns surrounding allegations of unfair regulations, censorship, and the mistreatment of F1 drivers by the FIA itself.
Recent controversies have highlighted issues of governance transparency, the balance of power between teams, drivers, and regulators, and the ethical considerations in enforcing race rules and penalties. These matters not only affect the sport’s integrity but also its global reputation and the trust of millions of passionate fans worldwide.
As conflicts deepen and public scrutiny grows, the sport stands at a crossroads. What does accountability look like when decisions are made behind closed doors? Can sporting excellence truly shine without institutional fairness?
This committee aims to bring forth delegates that will explore how to uphold competitive integrity, protect athletes' rights, and foster an environment where competition thrives without compromising ethics or safety. Delegates will be expected to confront the politics of power and performance while balancing safety, commercial interest, and sporting spirit.
We invite delegates to bring their insights and expertise to this high-octane forum, where critical decisions will shape the future of motor racing. Come join us at the FIAWMSC committee to debate, draft resolutions, and contribute to building a just and exciting motorsport landscape.
