会長の大野喜好です。

My name is Kiyoshi Ohno, Chairman.

向原町会は豊島区と練馬区に隣接し、向原１丁目から３丁目で構成されています。（向原三丁目にはコーシャハイム向原があり、規模が大きい地域コミュニティですので、独自にコーシャハイム向原自治会として活動されております。）

The Mukaihara neighborhood association is located adjacent to Toshima and Nerima wards and consists of Mukaihara 1-chome to 3-chome. （Mukaihara 3-chome is home to Kosha Heim Mukaihara, a large community, which is independently organized as the Kosha Heim Mukaihara Neighborhood Association.)

 町会(会員数約５００世帯)は、地域の防犯・防災活動を行うボランティア団体として昭和３４年４月１日に設立されました。当時、この一帯は農村地帯でしたが、昭和６２年に町会の中央を放射３６号道路が通り、その下に地下鉄有楽町線（昭和５８年６月２４日）が開通、小竹向原駅ができ、マンションなどが立ち並び、世帯数が増えるとともに緑多き静かな街並みへと変貌しました。その後、一時は３６道路（要町通り）による町会分断の危機もありましたが、道路完成後は親睦が深まり、現在では３,６００世帯超えの町会へと発展しました。

 The neighborhood association (membership of approximately 500 households) was established on April 1, 1959 as a volunteer organization to conduct crime prevention and disaster prevention activities in the community. At that time, this area was a farming area, but in 1987, Radial Road No. 36 passed through the center of the neighborhood, the Yurakucho subway line (June 24, 1983) opened beneath it, Kotake Mukaihara Station was built, and the area was transformed into a quiet, green neighborhood with an increasing number of households and apartments. Although there was a crisis of the town council being divided by road 36 (Kaname-cho Dori) for a while, after the completion of the road, the friendship among residents deepened, and the town council has now grown to over 3,600 households.

当町会は、皆様と住み良い町にするためのボランティア団体として防災訓練、防犯、交通安全運動、リサイクル運動やクリーンデーなどの地域活動のほかに、夏はラジオ体操と納涼盆踊り、秋は向原八雲神社との共催で祭礼などの季節の行事を行なっております。また、地域連携の一環として、板橋区町会連合会の大谷口支部運動会やフェスティバルにも参加し、地域周辺の町会とともに活動しております。

As a volunteer organization, the neighborhood association conducts community activities such as disaster drills, crime prevention, traffic safety campaigns, recycling campaigns, and clean-up days, as well as seasonal events such as radio exercises and Nohryo Bon Odori dance in the summer and a festival in the fall in cooperation with Mukaihara Yakumo Shrine. In addition, as part of community cooperation, we participate in the Ohyaguchi Branch Athletic Meet and Festival of the Itabashi Ward Federation of Neighborhood Associations, along with other neighborhood associations in the area.
