As we introduce more technology and digital tools into our classroom, it’s important that we all work together to ensure that our children use technology in a responsible, safe, and respectful way. That’s why I’ve created an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for our classroom, and I wanted to take a moment to explain what it is and why it’s important. By reviewing the Acceptable Use Policy for our classroom, you can see the guidelines I’ve set up for how technology will be used here at school. This will give you a clear understanding of the expectations for your child and help reinforce good habits both at school and at home. It’s also a great opportunity for you to talk with your child about technology use, discuss online safety, and set similar expectations at home.
