Students and parents can access the classroom rules in the AUP tab in the navigation bar on the class website. A copy of these were also sent home with students at the beginning of the school year and the parents signed and returned the form saying they read it. Access can also be found here: AUP.

Students will be given the same amount of time as other students who were in class to finish the assignment unless it was an assignment that already had a set due date that was not affected by their absence. Due dates are flexible as needed to ensure students are getting the same amount of time to work with the material covered in class as others.
Students are allowed to have a water bottle in class. Food and drinks besides water are not allowed unless stated otherwise.

Parents and students can find their grades for the class (and every other class) by accessing the online grade book issued by Old Town Junior High. Students will also receive a progress report every five weeks and a report card every nine weeks.

Cell phones are allowed until the bell rings signalling the start of class. Then phones must be put into their backpacks or out of sight somewhere else. Two warnings will be given to students caught on their phones in class, but after, they will receive lunch detention.
Students are allowed in my classroom from 7:30 am to 7:55 am for help with homework and other assignments. There is also tutoring available with me on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:20 pm to 4:30 pm.
