Plagiarism is another concept that students must understand. Students are not allowed to present material found online (research papers, articles, presentations, etc.) or from other materials as their own work. If there are sources from the Internet used, they must identify the source by including the author, website, and who published the material. The same goes if they use books or other sources to find information. Copying from other student's homework is also considered plagiarism and cannot be done. This is against the class rules and school rules.
Some ways to avoid plagiarism include doing your own work, avoiding copying and pasting, and changing ideas to make them your own.
