Digital Law "refers to the electronic responsibility for actions and deeds and has to do with the creation of rules and policy that addresses issues related to the online world." It is important for students and adults to remember that there are rules when you are using the internet just like there are rules in the classroom or in any other structured environment. The rules are in place to protect you from harm and others and they must be known. For example, there is support for issues such as cyberbullying and sexting. Administrators in schools need to develop positive approaches to these issues.
Example of Digital Law: Violating digital laws by spreading a virus through devices, hacking others' information, and stealing someone else's work.
