Dramatic Sky

Step 1: Watch the video below

Step 2: Upload a photo you have already taken that is a good fit for this assignment or go take one of the mountains outside. 

Step 3: Choose a photo with a decent sized skyline that you can work with

• Perform/use the following adjustments/tools:

  • • Use the mask feature and use the 'Select Sky' mask

    • Play with the + and - mask to add or subtract areas in your skyline

    • Play around with the following features to see how they affect your photo: exposure, dehaze, clarity, 

    • Secondatry features to look into include: whites and highlights

    • Pay attention to the rest of the image and adjust colours and exposure as needed using the skills you have learned so far in Lightroom

Step 4: Create a subpage in the ADOBE page titled: "Dramatic Sky"

Step 5: Upload the original photo and the Lightroom edited photo to your website

Step 6: Answer the Self Reflection questions located below and post your answers to your website

• Use Lightroom specific and photography vocabulary in your answers!
