Reading is so important for many reasons. Reading helps build your comprehension, critical thinking skills, creativity, and it makes your brain stronger!
Good literature is important because it is important that we challenge our students. That is what makes the brain stronger. Providing them with good literature ensures that they are reading soemthing is educating them.
Here are some children's literature that I recommend:
Hello World written by Kelly Corrigan and illustrated by Stacy Ebert
The Worry Box by Suzanne Chiew and Sean Julian
Ask a Scientist by Professor Robert Winston
Sofia Valdez, Future Prez by Andrea Beaty Illustrated by: David Roberts
We Are All Connected by Gabia Garcia Illustrated by: Natalia Jimenez Osorio
