Digital Fluency is understanding what technology is and use it properly. It is important to be digitally fluent so good decisions can be made when using technology or the internet. If someone understands the technology that they are using, they are obviously more likely to use it correctly and to its full potential. If someone is digitally fluent online, they are more likely to notice threats and be able to avoid them like untrustworthy links, fake news, or untrustworthy emails. Some examples of being digitally fluent are being able to identify fake news and being able to use different programs that are available on the computer like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Sheets, etc.
