What is Cyberbullying?
Cyberbullying is the use of the internet communication to bully someone. The messages are usually to intimidate the victim or to send threats. It is important for students to know the effects of cyberbullying and why they should not do it. It is also important that parents know how to spot the signs that your child might be being cyberbullied. If your child is a victim of cyberbullying, please contact the police if the threats are serious. If it is someone from the school that is cyberbullying, please contact the school. There are some resources I have listed below that go more in depth on what cyberbullying is and how to spot the signs that your child is a victim. There is also a resource for hotlines.
