My advice: Your essay question is "how does the author develop a theme?" Answer that question by thinking of a theme and then three elements the author uses to develop that theme. You may then dedicate a paragraph to each element.
Use the following plan to plan your essay.
My advice:
Step One: Start with your thesis statement. Answer the question and consider three ways in which the author develops a theme.
Step Two: Expand upon your thesis statement and write your body claims.
Step Three: Search for the best evidence to support those body claims. Consider what context is needed for your readers.
Step Four: Analyse your evidence using the three-tier model.
Step Five: Put it all together. Ensure all paragraphs are CL.E.A.R. Write your full introduction and conclusion.
Follow instructions in these slides to give your peer some useful feedback to improve their essay.
On Google Classroom, submit the final essay to be graded. Please ensure it is color coded.
