Mentor Rationale

Your mentor rationale is due December 7. It must explain:

  • Who your mentor is and how they can help with your project.
  • How you will integrate their feedback into your project.
  • The logistics of you two working together.

The rationale should be 1-3 pages double-spaced, Times New Roman font.

Remember, you also need to hand in a signed copy of the mentor permission form. If you need a copy, come to B107.

1. Career-life Exploration (10%) – Term 1 – September class work

2. Written Proposal for your Capstone Project (10%) – Term 1 – October 18

3. Mentor search and rationale (5%) – Term 1 – December 6

4. Work with a mentor (10%) (Mentor’s Evaluation) – Term 2 – February 17

5. Transition Plan/Progress update (10%) – Term 2 – March 2

6. Presentation (30%) – Term 3 – Start second week of May

7. Reflection Paper (25%) – Term 3 – Second last week of school
