Hostels Of Mount Abu

Mount Abu City has long been a center of learning. With the closing down of boarding facilities in major schools in the plains, the demand for boarding schools in the hills has seen a huge influx of students heading for Mount Abu. Few residential schools here cater to the thousands of students that head this way; hence, the demand for private hostels gained importance, and over time, over forty registered hostels have evolved.

The city has become an educational centre because of the availability of excellent education, a very good studying environment, no riots, no strikes or bands and safe environs. Most of the hostels in Abu are pretty well set up to cater to the need of school-going students. These hostel accommodations are very reasonable when compared to the boarding fees charged at other educational hubs all over the country.

As I mentioned above, there are over 40 odd hostels to choose from. It all depends on the facilities these private hostels have on offer. The greater the infrastructure a hostel has, the higher the fees. So once again it boils down to how much you will pay for the facilities you wish to avail of…

I have drawn up a list of hostels. My advice is to do your own fieldwork by inquiring around town and getting proper feedback as it’s your kid who will stay here for nine months and years to come.

Interact with the owners. Find out everything that they offer. On the fees, front be very clear about what your Annual fees would consider every aspect such as boarding fees, mess fees, school fees, transportation, books, and private tuition, These queries, if sorted outright, in the beginning, will prevent private hostels from giving you an inflated bill at the end of the term.
