Dilwara Jain Temple Google Mao

In Mount Abu, the paramount attraction is “Mount Abu” Itself.

There is certainly plenty to see and do on Mount Abu, the Abode of the Gods. So without much ado, get ready to explore and make the most of what this tiny hill station has to offer you.

Timings: 12 noon to 6.00 pm

Achalgarh Fort 

overlooks the Achaleswar Mahadev Temple

Adhar Devi Temple (2km)

Mid-way On the way to the Delwara temple

Gaumukh Temple (Vashistha’s Ashram) 

Is situated at a distance of about 5–6 kilometers from the Bus stand at Mount Abu. 

 

 

Om Shanti Bhawan (Universal Peace Hall)

Built-in 1983 can accommodate 5,000 people

Wild Life:

The wildlife sanctuary is spread over 325 sq. km

Timings 9.00 am to 5.00 pm

(open daily) Entrance Fee per Individual and Vehicle Fees.

 

Museums:

Government Museum opposite the Post office

Timings: 10 am to 4.30 pm

Entrance Fee: Rs10/-

 

Spiritual Museum in the heart of the city

Parks :

There are numerous small parks at all prominent places for tourists to relax and absorb the peace and tranquillity of this small hill station.

The Brahma Kumari Peace Park is a lovely recreational place for kids as well as those seeking solace. It is on the way to Gurushikar, just after the Oria check post.

Excursions:

Guru Shikhar (18km)

The panoramic view of Abu and the surrounding views of the plains below from this vantage point is breathtaking.A visit to this place also can be combined with visits to historical temples and shrines

Mount Abu Observatory

The telescope is located close to Guru Shikhar
