Ph. D. Juan Carlos Rodriguez-Reyes is a chemist trained in surface and materials science. He's professor of the Chemical Engineering department at UTEC. Additionally, he is the director of the Research Center for Heritage Conservation, and is the leader of both MocheUTEC and of NascaUTEC, our sister organization fociused on nanoscience.

Pablo Brito-Parada is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Earth Science and Engineering at Imperial College London. A Chemical Engineer by training, his research combines novel experimental and modelling techniques for the optimisation of mineral separation processes. He is passionate about sustainability and interested in developing tools to support decision-making and environmental assessment of the extraction, processing, and use of raw materials.

Ph. D. Carlos Rios Perez is an Assistant Professor in the Energy and Mechanical Engineering Department at the Universidad de Ingenieria y Tecnologia in Lima. He earned his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2013 and has held professional appointments at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, The University of Texas at Austin, Northeastern University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Harvard University. Currently, he teaches undergraduate Fluid Mechanics and is interested in investigating separation processes and thermal energy storage systems for applications with a social impact.

RENACYT research professor at the Universidad Nacional de Madre de Dios (UNAMAD), chemist at the Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad del Cusco, with experience in research on biomaterials obtained from different precursors with properties applicable to environmental solutions. MSc. in Environmental Education and Sustainable Development (National University of Education) and MSc. in Ecology and Environmental Management. Experienced in organizing events and technical courses at regional and national level. She is a mentor for undergraduate students of the Faculty of Engineering of UNAMAD and is responsible for their research laboratories. She coordinates the Scientific Collection of Ichthyology of UNAMAD. Receiver of the National Water Culture Award 2021.
