Our group specializes in research on mineral processing, extractive metallurgy and its environmental implications. We focus on identifying metallurgical problems and solving them through the design of strategies based on our four research branches: mineralogical characterization of ores, separation & concentration processes, hydrometallurgical extraction of precious metals, and the treatment and reutilization of residues generated by the mining and metallurgical industries.
