Professor Dong-Weon Lee, School of of Mechanical Engineering, Chonnam National University 

Professor Dong-Weon Lee is a leading faculty member at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Chonnam National University. He received his Ph.D. in 2001 from the Department of Mechatronics at Tohoku University, Japan, under the supervision of Professor Masayoshi Esashi, a pioneer in the field of MEMS. After completing his doctoral degree, he conducted his research at the IBM Zurich Research Laboratory, one of the world’s top research institutions in nanotechnology and microfabrication. Since joining Chonnam National University in 2004, Professor Lee is working at the field of MEMS, biosensors, and nanotechnology research in Korea.
