Looking at the Near West Side map, according to the bar graph, the highest month for electricity usage was in July. So I wanted to take a look at which particular area had the most electricity usage in July. This area was on Washington St right off the Kennedy expressway.

Bar graph of the total electricity usage (the summer months and December had the most usage)
The highest months of electricity usage were in the summer but December had a pretty large usage as well, so I wanted to see what area had the highest, and oddly enough it was the same location as above.
The map in December 2010 and the bar graph to show the totals
As far as gas goes, the highest month of usage was in January, and this time the location that had the most usage was around Jackson Blvd and Western Ave.

I wanted to compare two communities in Chicago: one on the North side and one on the South side. I compared Norwood Park with Englewood. In December of 2010, Englewood used a lot more electricity than in Norwood Park.
Bar graphs and table entries showing the comparison between the two neighborhoods
I then proceeded to look at the building ages and Englewood also had many more older buildings than Norwood Park.

I then wanted to compare two other neighborhoods. One being Edison Park which is where I used to live, and the other being Portage Park which is where I live now. I compared their total population, and it looks like Portage Park has a much higher population with the increase in blocks.

Looking at the Chicago map, the tallest building in 2010 is located on Franklin and Jackson.
