Campaign Statement:

I am dedicated to the Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale since 2018. I will continue to support the Visionthat is set by our Founder and Founding Members. I am proud to serve as your Member at Large.

I’m a proud graduate of the University of New Orleans and Northern Arizona University, where I havereceived a Masters in Education in Secondary Mathematics 6-12 grade. I’m currently attending LibertyUniversity pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. I’ve been married for 15 years to thehandsome Joseph Scott, and we have two beautiful intelligent daughters, Jaliah and Miria.

On October 21, 2023, I was awarded Teacher of the Year from John F. Kennedy High School for the 2022– 2023 academic school year. Over eleven years, I’ve been an educator. At John F. Kennedy, I am theInstructional Coach for the Mathematics Department, Lead Teacher, and Algebra 1 Teacher. Throughoutmy years, I’ve been the Head Coach of the Girls Basketball Team for five years. I am a proud member ofthe Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

This organization has offered me so many opportunities to grow as an individual. Within ourorganization, I am a member of Femme Jolie’, Lieutenant Trudy Jackson, Special Events and CommunityEngagement Committee. One of the areas will be able to offer my assistance is having a stronger voiceto allow members to be heard. I will utilize my skills as an educator to connect with individuals. Myability to build relationships with a diverse group of individuals will be able to bridge the gap betweenmembers and leadership.

In addition to being a voice for our members, I would like to increase members’ engagement bycreating a strategy that will allow our members to better participant. The growth of our organization isvital to our existence. Keeping members engage will create more excited and buzz for other strongwomen to seek membership. The strategy will target our younger members to feel more valued, comeup with ways to compromise with our members to help view opportunities from a different perspective,and create/ venture into new opportunities that will allow us to grow stronger.

It is my goal to continue to make HerStory great and represent our great organization with knowledge,style, dignity, and class. I am Femme Strong and Femme Proud Elect, Mrs. Monique Scott, M.Ed. as yourMember at Large.
