Campaign Statement:

I am Anika Williby Beasley, your candidate for Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale Board Member

at Large. I have been a member since 2014. I am a devoted, faithful member that loves

everything about the Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale. I believe in loyalty and stability. I have

been an educator for 25 years and a Mental Health Specialist for 10 years. I am currently a

member of the Order of Eastern Star (Earl L Bradford), Zeta Phi Beta and Zulu Duchess.

Currently, I am working on my Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction specializing in

Educational Psychology. I have owned several businesses over the years. I am currently the

Executive Director of Single Solutions for Success Support Systems, teaching Special

Education at the Bridge Middle School and a Mental Health Professional at Clarke’s Community

Mental Health Agency.

I am currently serving on the following committees: Social, Merchandising, Membership and

Special Events Committees. On the Social Committee, I enjoy assisting with planning and

coordinating social activities for the organization. I am a very friendly individual that enjoys

meeting new people and reaching out to fellow members to keep them socially involved in the

MKFF activities. When it comes to the Merchandising Committee, I am no stranger when it

comes to selling and distributing paraphernalia for an organization. I have past retail

experiences and speaking to customers or members in getting them to purchase paraphernalia.

As a member of the Membership Committee, I enjoy promoting and speaking to ladies when it

comes to joining MKFF. I have written several recommendations to assist ladies to join MKFF. I

have encouraged over 20 ladies to join MKFF, such as my daughter, sister, cousins,

schoolmates and co-workers. I will continue to spread the word as long as MKFF exists. Lastly,

I am a member of the Special Events committee. I enjoy seeing the entire organization get

together to fellowship and have a Femmetastic time. It makes my heart very joyful to see so

many women get together and have a wonderful time.

I am a well rounded, people person that can be a voice or a liaison between members and

the MKFF Board of Directors.

Please accept my candidate statement as I am ready to get the ball rolling to help MKFF to

be the absolute top organization of the entire Mardi Gras season.
