We live in a broken world.
Our brokenness is revealed in many different ways and struggles. Some people may battle addictions. Others may harbor bitterness and hate. While others may suffer from hurt or pain.
This broken world is not what God created it to be.
So what happened? Sin happened.
God created this world to be perfect. In God's creation, He gave Adam and Eve everything they needed. But they wanted what they could not have. When they acted against God's instructions, they broke their relationship with him.
It would be easy to blame it all on Adam and Eve. But, in truth, we are all guilty. We have all made decisions that were not in alignment with God's plan.
Here's the good news...
God made a way for us to reconcile with him. He sent his son, Jesus, to take the punishment we deserved.
Jesus sacrificed his life on the cross. He interceded for us. He made a way for us to restore our relationship with our heavenly father.
When we believe in Jesus, repent, and ask for forgiveness, we reconnect and restore our connection to God.
