My promises as a future teacher...

I promise to...

• provide my students with opportunities to use their personal strengths

• make strong connections and foster relationships with each student

• model for my students by using the Gradual Release of Responsibility

• make my lessons engaging

• give my students choice

• build a safe space for them

• foster an inclusive classroom

• use an equity lens- I am aware that some started with a little less and may need a little more

• take care of myself to provide you with my best self
